The Braxton family has endured other painful losses. Trina’s niece, Lauren Braxton, Michael’s daughter, died on April 29, 2019, at 24 from heroin and fentanyl intoxication. Three years later, Traci died of esophageal cancer on March 12, 2022. She was only three weeks away from her 51st birthday on April 2.
Traci’s presence in Trina’s wedding photographs makes those family portraits even more special. They capture a day when the sisters could gather around the bride and celebrate her happiness together.
Now, the family is mourning Von, while asking for the space to face that loss privately. Trina’s own wedding-day words offer a loving remembrance of the husband she called an amazing man.
