Stand on a chair or counter, lift one of your legs up with your hands and hold it still. Then slowly raise it up onto your toes and gently lower it back down. Repeat this exercise 8-15 times, depending on your fitness level. It strengthens the muscles in your lower leg and significantly improves your balance, which is ideal for going up and down stairs or walking more confidently.
Exercise 2: Tiptoe walking
This exercise is perfect for busy people: simply walk on your toes while you go about your daily activities. This active walk strengthens your leg muscles and improves overall stability. Continue until you feel as comfortable as a prima ballerina… but without the physical exertion of the Paris Opera!
Exercise 3: Ankle circles to improve mobility
Sit down, lift one leg, and rotate your ankle ten times in one direction, then ten times in the other. Repeat with the other leg. This simple movement will relax your ankle joints and prepare your body for smoother walking. Do it during a coffee break or a video call: no one will notice.
