Homemade strawberry syrup

Add the strawberries, sugar, and water to a large saucepan.

Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally.

Simmer the mixture for about 20 to 25 minutes, until the strawberries are soft.

Gently mash the strawberries with a spoon or potato masher.
