11. Itchy skin without an obvious cause
Persistent itching can happen for many reasons, including dry skin or allergies, but it can also be associated with liver conditions. If the itching is widespread, keeps coming back, or shows up along with other symptoms such as yellow eyes or dark urine, it deserves attention.
10. Dark urine
Urine that looks unusually dark, tea-colored, or cola-colored can sometimes be a sign that something is wrong with the liver or bile flow. While dehydration can also darken urine, this symptom is more concerning when it continues even after good fluid intake or appears with jaundice or pale stools.
